Gaussian-Splatted XR Proxies
Fast Digitization in XR of Reality-Linked Gaussian-Splatted Proxies — real-time 3D scene reconstruction using neural rendering, optimized for standalone headsets. Built at the Columbia Computer Graphics and User Interfaces Laboratory. Real-time multi-pass rendering holds 60+ FPS on-device, with specialized sorting for stable performance. Demonstrated at IEEE VR 2026, where it received a Best Research Demo Honorary Mention. Full paper in progress.
